Mit Tanz und Architektur
Tänzer*innen und Architekt*innen erforschen interdisziplinär verschiedene Architekturorte und tauschen sich als Raumexpert*innen über ihre Erfahrungen aus.
Ausgehend von konkreten Münchner Orten entwickeln sie Tanzperformances und erforschen den Raum durch Bewegung. Diese Performances werden filmisch und fotografisch dokumentiert. Aus den Erkenntnissen und dem gesammelten Material wird ein lebendiges, multimediales Archiv aufgebaut – ein Atlas der Raumforschung. Er stellt ein Instrumentarium an neuen Verständigungsmöglichkeiten über Architektur und Baukultur zur Verfügung.
Wenn verschiedene Disziplinen aufeinandertreffen, wird es spannend. Denn dann entsteht Neues, dann können eingefahrene Muster durchbrochen und neue Blickwinkel eingenommen werden. Die Begegnung von Tanz und Architektur weckt das Bewusstsein für Stadträume und ermöglicht neue sinnliche Zugänge zur gebauten Umgebung.
Das Format kann und soll auf andere Städte übertragen werden!

INVERSÃO DO INTIMAÇÃO
Architectural spaces define the contours to our living, they envelope us and create the slim line between common public spaces and the intimate sphere of the private realm. Some buildings are specifically designed for either or the other: While a cultural centre is made to exhibit something, to bring people together and to create a public, a private home serves as a personal retreat, a refuge to be on one's own. The intertwining of displaying and presenting, or intimacy and retreat are performatively unravelled: in two different places the performers use dance, movement and the body to balance closeness and distance, detachment and touch in order to enhance the characteristics of the spaces.
The cycle of performances takes place at »Dodged House« and »Carpintarias do São Lázaro«, entwining metamorphoses and transpositions of intimacy.
